This island is the longest island in Croatia. Tourism on this island is being developed for the last few decades. A big city beach, appropriate especially for the families with children, is located not far from the center of city. Close to the beach there are old warehouses of salt pans, which are now transformed in disco club, and healthy Pag healing-mud. On the island of Pag the famous Pag lace is being produced also which is the most famous lace product, and in the city's cheese factory the most famous cheese is being produced which is the most famous and the most authentic cheese in whole country. Today's offer of Pag consists of hotels, apartmans, rooms, olympic sport clubs, water sport clubs, cultural festivals. The nearness of Karlobag and Velebit mountains makes the person to live both and the sea experience and the mountain experience, because the atmosphere here is like that.

City of Pag: The city of Pag is a city and a harbour on southeastern coast of Pag basin. The bigger ships anchor along eastern part of city at depths 3.5m, when the smaller boats can enter the city small port. Economy here is agriculture, viticulture, cattle-breeding, fishery, ship-building, processing salt, and finally tourism. The city is located on M29 road which passes through the whole island.
